What We Learned Today October 22nd, 2007Today I learned that cheese and salami have fat in them. We did an experiment with five foods. They were salami, cheese, marshmellow cake, carrots and apples. We rubbed the food on a piece of paper and after two nights they were all dry. We put the paper up to the window and the salami and cheese glowed. I learned about math too. I did a problem.

Hi Ben! What an interesting experiment! It really helps to learn when you can actually see the results. Your teachers have some really good ideas. I remember how much you liked doing math – when you visited this summer, you were working on lots of hard problems and I was really impressed. I also saw that your class was collecting healthy recipes – can I send one in? Let me know. I hope you have a good day today.
