Graphing Presentations
Teachers February 7th, 2008Our graphing presentations were a success. Yesterday our class went to Mr. McFarland’s first grade classroom and presented the graphs to the first graders. Each presentation explained the following:
- The question explored
- Who was surveyed and why
- Type of graph
- What the key represented
- What we found out
The first graders did a great job of asking the second graders questions and giving them compliments. Way to go!!
Here are some pictures from the process and presentations.

Luke,
I am sure you did a good job with your graphing presentation. Was your presentation about hockey teams?

Hi Luke:
Looks you know your stuff when it comes to graphs! Nice to see that you’re doing well. Did you get a haircut?
Hope to see one of your hockey games before the season ends!

Luke, you look so smart up there in the front of the room explaining the graph. I hope those first grade students were listening to all the wisdom you have to share. GO FLYERS!! GO SAINTS!!!

Hi Luke!
I bet your presentation was great! I wish I could have been there to see it. I bet you did a good job speaking in front of your class and the first graders! I also like your blue Hawaii shirt (because I got it for you!) I miss you soooooo much and will hopefully see you soon. I really miss you hockey games!
Love,
Diane =)

Luke, Wow! You guys did a great job with those graphs. We’re learning fractions right now, but we’ll be making graphs soon. I’m excited about coming to see you and Sallie in April. Call me and let me know how your hockey is going.
Love, Grammie
