Geometry
Teachers, Uncategorized March 27th, 2008Our geometry investigation is coming to an end. The children have spent the past few weeks discovering the different attributes of 2-D and 3-D shapes. We have discussed many new vocabulary words such as right angle, vertex, edge, face, base and many different shapes.
To wrap up our unit, we’ve been creating stained glass windows with 2 lines of symmetry. See if you can find the lines of symmetry in our windows.

I love hearing what my sister is doing in school. The chick eggs sound really fun. And last but not least I always loved geometry.

I think the stain glass windows look awesome! All of the fun bright colors look really great. I can see a lot of symmetry all over! I think it looks really cool and hope you enjoy geometry.
